We always recommend you work with your Physical Therapist or medical professional on what specific needs needs to be served by a power wheelchair. Outside of specific diagnosis, there are a few important aspects to review before a purchase.
INSURANCE AND MEDICARE COVERAGE
A Power or Electric Wheelchair can be covered by Insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid. You can file for reimbursement if you purchase from a provider like Elderly Central. Be sure to have your correct paper work, this includes your prescription or doctors order, receipt of purchase and any other forms and information your insurance may need. Medicare has a 1490S form you can fill out and mail in with your information. We always recommend calling your insurance company to verify coverage and any paperwork needed to process your claim and send you a check!
DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY
The Power Wheelchair will be delivered to your home, but what other services might be needed? Will you need outside help with the assembly or getting it into the home? If so you may want to consider White Glove Delivery Service. This service will deliver the item into your home and set the item up in the room of your choice. Elderly Central offers this at No Charge, simply place your order and reply to your order confirmation requesting this service.
WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All Power Wheelchairs include Full Warranty and Service Support. What does this mean? Elderly Central is your one call for any issues with your item. We will handle all paperwork and communication with the manufacturer and service technicians to get your parts and/or service scheduled and/or delivered to you. PEACE OF MIND
All Power Scooters and Power Wheelchairs include our new Peace of Mind Product Protection power mobility products. It is effective for up to 14 months from date of purchase. These products will be repaired, serviced or replaced due to mechanical and electrical breakdowns or defects.

We only ship within the USA (lower 48 only). We typically ship within 1-2 business days after the order is received, and orders can be expected to arrive to a customer within 3-7 business days from the order date.
Please note that Elderly Central does not ship to PO Boxes. We may reject, or in some cases cancel orders, if it is being shipped to a PO Box.
We understand that some orders may slip through the crack, however please note that ALL orders being shipped to a PO Box are subject to cancellation.

We accept received within 30 days of RECEIPT of your order and MUST have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number provided by our customer service department.

Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt of order.
All items must be returned undamaged in their original packaging with their original instructions and other materials (if included). Some items are Not Re-turnable! These include items used for personal hygiene, such as re-usable and disposable Incontinence underwear and pads, bath and shower chairs, toilet aids and most eating utensils. Sale and clearance items are also not returnable.
Some items require a re-stocking fee. These include items drop shipped by manufacturers who charge us a re-stocking fee and items returned that are re-salable. Items that are not returnable will be clearly marked "non-returnable" on the packing slip shipped directly from Elderly Central. However, non-returnable items drop shipped by the manufacturer may not be clearly marked as non-returnable on their packing slips.
Original shipping charges are not refundable.
